After a weight loss and through time, especially in women, the arms area tends to relax. Usually, the “problem” co-exists with similar relaxation problems in other areas (breasts, abdomen, laps), where a combined treatment should be applied in one or two surgical times if it is necessary.

The patient returns home at the same or following day, bears tubes for 1-3 days and her post-operational course presents no specific problems. The post-operational pain, if exists, wears off with the common painkillers. If intense and persistent pain or sudden “swelling” occurs, she must immediately contact her doctor. The patient can return to work and daily activities in a few days.

The scars do not completely disappear, but after a year they are discolored and visible only when lifting the arms.
